i wonder why we love people that don't love us in return.
it's so contradictory, because in all other aspects of life, we want to take the easy road out.
homework, school, projects, tests...
love is the exception. we always want the hard, nitty gritty, rocky road love.
no one wants to "cop out" with an easy love life, and i wonder what it is.
when people get married, we instantly point out their flaws and say.. "you settled for him, didn't you?"
well, what's wrong with settling?
no, we must be masochists.
we love the pain and the hurt that "make us who we are",
when all along all you had to do was guard your heart and leave it all behind.
